JORDAN, Courtney Michelle Leigh 27, of Springfield, passed away March 8, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Anthony Ryan Tony McClanahan, 36, of Springfield, passed away September 7, 2019 at the OSU Medical Center. Bernice Parker, 69, of South Charleston, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 20th at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Oh. His coworkers remember him as a man of wisdom and integrity, ready with comic relief or a quick secret gift in the tough times, and as someone whose practical jokes may arise at any moment to color the normal days with a smile. He retired from Tecumseh School District. He was retired from Haley Trucking in Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Curtis Taylor officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. He was born Jan. 9, 1938, in Higley, Arizona to Floyd Monroe and Mamie Martin Allred. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jerry and Betty Skaggs, her children; Yvonne Nicole Armstrong, Richard Damond Armstrong, son-in-law; Marlon Antone Avery as well as her siblings; Evelyn McNeely, Bud Skaggs, Marsha Smith and Beverly Cardosa. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Monte was preceded in death by his dad, Charles E. Demmy in 1997 and his mom, Rosemary Demmy in 2018. Patricia was a faithful member of First Free Will Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing gospel music for many years. Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM Sunday in the Plattsburg United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Cynthia Jayne Haley; brothers Bill Bennett and Richard Otha Bennett. She was born September 24, 1935, in Clark County, Ohio, the daughter of William Tennyson and Dorothy Margaret (Roddy) Errett. Dale was born on April 5, 1949, in Charleston. She was also a member of the Young Womens Mission, and volunteered as a counselor with the Nehemiah Foundation Jobs & More program. Mr. Brown was the owner of Browns Small Engine Repair Shop. Rick was a member of the Union Club and the Machinist Club. She was born February 1, 1921 in Clark County, the daughter of William Blair and Irene Martin Hardacre. She is survived by three sisters Alice LaHote, Dottie Sarver and Peg Lauer; also two adult children, Tony Seifert and Ricki Pepin; two grandchildren, Jennifer and David Pepin; and three great-grandchildren, Sydney, Sadie and Sammy Pepin.
Landan had many interests some of which included woodworking, video games, reading, four wheeling, listening to music, watching Youtube, playing Magic the Gathering, and most importantly annoying his parents and older sister. Ruth worked at Northridge pharmacyfor over thirty years for Albert Powell and later at Katys Hallmark. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday in the funeral home. Her family thanks the staff of Landings of Huber Heights and Hospice of Miami Valley. Betty was retired after 25 years of service from Community Hospital Home Health Care and Hospice Care as an aide. She often mentioned sweet memories from her childhood, one of her favorites being how she enjoyed the large family Christmas gatherings at her Grandmas home. Monte may be gone from this life but his spirit will live on, never to be forgotten. Mr. Connolly proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. She is survived by a son, Tom & Jan Group; a daughter, Diane & Charles Jergens; four grandchildren, Noel & Jennifer Group, Amy & Charles Dellinger, Ross Robb, & Brett & Tabitha Robb; four great grandchildren, Aiden, Rowen, Remy & Elah B.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
